This week, Malaysia SME ran a feature on my journey — sixteen years in Boston, and our mission for Malaysia. You can read the full story here. Terima kasih, Malaysia SME, for telling it.
For more than a decade, since I founded Hashim Communications in 2012, this mission has been mostly in my head. I believe that Malaysian technology is world-class, that our founders and their creations belong on the global stage, and I also understand that real change doesn’t necessarily come quickly — it takes years, not months.
The beauty of it is that you don’t need a title, a ministry, or a billion-ringgit budget to change how the world sees your country. One person, with one conviction, can start moving Malaysia onto the world map of technology — one founder, one story, one breakthrough at a time.
The story picked up by Malaysia SME is an important one for anyone who would like a glimpse into what Hashim Communications is about. Our mission to help elevate Malaysian tech onto the global stage is not angan-angan. It’s real, and people are starting to see it too.
The proof that I have been seeing is what keeps me going.
Dream bigger.
Be patient.
Keep going.
The proof arrives.
