Yayasan Tuanku Fauziah (YTF), with the Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT) as technical partner, has opened nominations for the Women in Technology Awards 2026, a national program recognizing Malaysian women who are advancing science, technology and innovation.

The awards celebrate outstanding contributions across the country’s STEM ecosystem — from pioneering research and entrepreneurship to leadership in digital transformation — while inspiring more women and girls to pursue careers and leadership roles in technology.

Recognition will be awarded in two categories. The Senior Women in Technology award honors leaders with at least 20 years of professional experience and carries a prize of RM30,000, a trophy and a certificate. The Junior Women in Technology award recognizes emerging talent aged 35 and under, or with fewer than ten years of experience, and comes with RM15,000, a trophy and a certificate.

Nominations are open to Malaysian citizens, and may be submitted three ways: self-nominations, through organizations/universities/companies, and through industry leaders or mentors.

Nominations opened on 10 August and close on 5 September 2026. Judging will take place from 17 to 22 September, with winners to be honored at a gala dinner on 17 October 2026.

Individuals and organizations are encouraged to submit their nominations through the official portal at might.org.my/women-in-technology-awards before the 5 September deadline.
